Get up and go! Pack your school bag and don’t forget to make your lunch. Let’s get ready for after school snacks too. Event will take place from 1 pm – 3 pm in the Country Store.

Adult Cooking Class – Lunch & Learn
You’ll love these easy-to-make recipes for lunch or dinner time. Taste and learn how to make a veggie salad with pasta and roasted chicken and a surprisingly simple dessert. This is the perfect way to spend lunch with friends. Event will take place from 12 pm – 1 pm in the Country Store.

August 11
Adult Cooking & Wine Class – Tapas & Spanish Wines
Join us for a perfect pairing of tapas, bite-sized appetizers, and Spanish wines. Taste and learn how to make these wine-friendly, savory bites for your own dinner parties. Learn how o bring out the characteristics in the food by pairing complementary wines. We will feature 4 wines and 4 tapas. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store.

August 13
Adult Cooking Class – Summer Pies & Tarts
Join Lana Shepek to learn how to make pastry crust from scratch. Eckert’s seasonal, savory vegetable fillings along with fresh herbs create a winning combination. Use fresh fruits of the season to make a crowd-pleasing dessert. Everyone will practice making a pie crust shell. Event will take place from 1 pm – 3 pm in the Country Store.

August 16
Adult Cooking Class – Slow-Cooker Suppers
Need ideas for easy week-night dinners? These recipes will help you put a tasty dinner on the table with a little nigh-before planning. Lana Shepek will show you some dinner shortcuts as we prepare spaghetti beef pie, creamy penne with bacon and vegetables, beef au jus and more. Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Store.

August 17
Guest Chef’s Summer Dinner in the Classroom
Join former Che and current Sysco culinary specialist, Jonathan Wiltse, for a delicious dinner in Eckert’s classroom. Jonathan will prepare smoked vegetable gazpacho, braised pork belly sliders with grilled peach mostarda and pistachio encrusted cod with fresh corn and herb salad. Finish the delicious evening off with a slice of our bakery’s peach praline pie and Eckert’s frozen custard. Two wines will be served with the Chef’s hardy portions.

August 25
Adult Cooking Class – 5 30-Minute Meals
Dinner in a flash can be a reality! Learn how to use fresh, unprocessed ingredients to create delicious dinners in 300 minutes or less. Taste beef stir-fry, chicken enchiladas, lemon shrimp pasta and more. Weeknight dining will be a snap after this class! Event will take place from 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Country Sore.

Honey Crisp Weekend
