Available in May
Strawberries are one of those fruits that once you discover you love them, you’ll never get enough of their sweet, juicy goodness. Here at Eckert’s Farm, we totally understand your love for strawberries. We love them too, which is why we devote a portion of our fertile soil to growing these wonderful berries. Each spring, when strawberry harvest season rolls around, we harvest these sweet berries for you to enjoy at home.
How to pick and store strawberries.
Strawberries are ready to be picked once they’re completely red. To pick them, just grasp the stem with your index finger and thumb, then gently pull, and twist. Ideally, you’ll have about part of the stem still on the berry. Pro tip. Pick early in the morning while the local strawberries are still cool. Store your berries in the fridge for up to three days.
Sustainable Growing Methods
