As a 7th generation Eckert family member, Sarah Lanxon has been involved in the family business since childhood. After graduating from the University of Illinois, she spent 25 years in the elementary education field before returning to Eckert’s full-time.
Since 2017, Sarah has led Eckert’s HR Department. She is responsible for the hiring needs at all 5 Eckert Farms locations. During peak season, this can be up to 500 employees. In addition, she also manages Eckert’s Millstadt Entertainment Farm.
She lives in Belleville, IL with her husband Mark, and together have raised 4 children – Kristin, Katie, Jack, and Will.
