Our homegrown apples provide groups of all ages the perfect opportunity for a fall trip to the farm. Experience the farm first-hand by riding a tractor-pulled wagon to the orchard where your group will pick a small bag of apples to take home, plus a sample of apple cider. This self-guided experience is the perfect way to spend a fall day.
Nothing screams fall like pumpkins and we have the perfect size pumpkins for your group! Our pumpkin picking experience provides the perfect opportunity for a fall trip to the farm. Experience the farm first-hand by riding a tractor-pulled wagon to the pumpkin patch where they will pick a pumpkin that they can carry to take home. Enjoy a sample of cold apple cider, when you return. This self-guided experience is perfect for any group.
You’re guaranteed to have the most fun in the country when you visit Eckert’s Millstadt Fun Farm. Loads of fun to keep the kids (and adults!) entertained all day long. After you are finished pumpkin picking, enjoy all of the fun the farm offers including Billy Bob’s Pig Races, Pumpkin Cannon Show, Carnival Rides, Jumping Pillow, Mine Shaft Slide & Fort Eckert.
The fun starts as your group rides a wagon to the pumpkin patch where students can pick a pumpkin from the patch. After you are finished picking, explore the farm, and don’t forget to meet some of our favorite animal friends along the way.
We are so excited to offer an apple and pumpkin combination tour again this year. Students will learn how pumpkins & apples grow, discuss the seasons of growth, pollinators, and more! Everyone will walk to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin, while there be sure to grab two freshly harvested apples from a bin. In addition to pumpkin picking, enjoy a tractor & wagon ride around the farm. Cider and a donut sample will be served, too!
Make sure you save time to enjoy our expanded kids corral fun area. The attractions kids can’t get enough of include: Swineland Pig Races, Rat Races, NEW! Slide, Woodford 500 Trikes, and the loveable animals to name a few.
The cost for the Combination Apple & Pumpkin Picking Tour is $12/person for students, adults and siblings. There is no fee for teachers and aids as employed by the school; a school ID must be presented at check-in time.
Eckert’s requires a minimum ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children to better ensure the safety of our guests and the preservation of our orchards. Please share this handout with both your students and their parents to help us increase student safety and decrease waste in the orchard.
In respect of other tour groups and to maintain booking flexibility, there is a $25 fee for any tour group that misses its appointment without first contacting Eckert’s within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
If in question of the weather, the above fee will be waived for all cancellations, and Eckert’s will be happy to assist in rescheduling your tour.
Eckert’s has plenty of space for picnicking; however, you may want to bring blankets for additional seating.
