  • Ticketing Information and Guidelines

  • Types of Tickets 

    Online ticket purchases are required for some events and highly recommended for all others. Walk-ins are only allowed if capacity allows.  

    • Field Access Pass: (Belleville, IL and Grafton, IL) Required for anyone 2 years and older to access the fields. A tractor must be ridden to the field. Personal vehicles and walking are prohibited.  
    • Farm Admission: (Millstadt, IL and Versailles, KY locations) Farm admission is required for those ages 2 years or older to enter the farm. Farm admission includes field access and admission to farm activities such as playgrounds, petting zoos, ect.  
    • Special Event Pass: This type of ticket pertains to seasonal farm activities such as workshops, concerts, Murder Mystery Dinners, Jack’s Lighted Trail, Easter Egg-citement, ect. Please see the description of the event for ticket requirements.

    Picking Pass:

     One-time purchase that grants unlimited field access to the Belleville and Grafton locations. Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. One pass is required per person. Access to special events such as the sunflower patch, tulip patch, Jack’s Lighted trail, etc. are not included in the season pass. 

     

    Ticketing Guidelines 

    • Tickets are required for guests ages 2 and up unless otherwise noted.  
    • Tickets are non-refundable. We are more than happy to change the date of your ticket if the event allows.   
    • Date Changes: Please contact us by calling 618-233-0513 x 0 or sending an email to tickets@eckerts.com to change your date within 5 days of your original event. After 5 days date changes are no longer valid, and tickets will not be refunded.   
    • If the farm is closed or the event is cancelled, you will be refunded or asked to reschedule. No shows and self-cancellations will not be refunded.  
    • If an event is cancelled or the farm is closed due to weather, you will be notified via text or email.  
    • Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable 
    • Ticket orders cannot be split from their original purchase amount. For example. Four of your six tickets cannot be moved to a different date.  

    Purchase Protection  

    Purchase protection is offered by a 3rd party company to protect your ticket and offer a refund if you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.  

    • Purchase protection cannot be added after ticket purchase  
    • Eckert’s is not held responsible for purchase protection’s decision  

    School Tours  

    • Reservations must be made online ahead of time  
    • The name that the school tour is booked under should be the name of the lead teacher attending. This should also be the person checking in for the group.  
    • The preferred method of payment is card or check. If paying in cash, please have it separated and in order before checking in.  
    • Payment will only be taken upon check-in. Payments may not be made ahead of time or after the event.  
    • For a timelier check in, it is preferred that chaperones pay with the school.  
    • Siblings of those attending will be charged as a chaperone 
    • Parents and other chaperones attending will purchase a chaperone ticket. Not a field access pass or farm admission ticket.  
    • Everyone in the tour must pay together-school tours cannot be split between families, chaperones, ect. Separate classes are welcome to check in separately.  
  • When is strawberry picking season at Eckert’s?

  • Strawberry picking typically begins in early-May and runs through late May or early June, depending on weather and crop conditions. Check our Crop Update Page for current updates.

  • What fruits are available for picking throughout the year?

  • Depending on the season and the farm, you can pick strawberries, peaches, blackberries, apples, pumpkins and cut-your-own Christmas Tree. Visit our Pick Page for the full schedule.

  • How does Pick-Your-Own work?

  • Simply purchase a Field Access Pass online or at the farm, then hop on a wagon to pick your own fruit. Containers are provided.  Visit our Crop Update Page to learn what is available for picking and to purchase your field access pass.

  • Do I need a reservation for Pick-Your-Own?

  • We highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, especially on weekends and holidays. Tickets are also less expensive when purchased online. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Visit our Crop Update Page to purchase tickets.

  • Are strollers allowed in the fields?

  • Yes, but please note that the fields may be muddy or uneven, especially after rain.

  • What seasonal events does Eckert’s host?

  • We host a variety of events which vary by location. Some events include Strawberry Festival, Summer Concerts, Fall Fun Fest, Haunted Hayrides, and Breakfast with Santa. Check out our Events Calendar for details.

  • Do you offer private event rentals?

  • Yes! Our Cider Shed, pavilion spaces, and private rooms in our Country Restaraunt are available for rentals. 

    Plus, during the fall season, our Millstadt and Versailles farms also offer private rental spaces — perfect for church groups, family gatherings, and corporate events looking for a unique, seasonal experience!

  • What are the hours for the Country Store and Restaurant?

  • Hours vary seasonally. Visit our  Locations page for up-to-date information.

  • Do you accept reservations at Eckert’s Country Restaurant?

  • Yes, we accept reservations for groups of all sizes. Reserve your table here or by calling 618-233-0513 x 0.

  • What is the Cider Shed?

  • The Cider Shed is our hard cider bar and casual eatery, serving up local ciders, seasonal drinks, and delicious bites in a relaxed farm setting.

    It’s more than just a bar — we offer live music year-round, an outdoor pavilion with dining options open seasonally, a private room available for rental, plus a variety of special events, classes, and fun vibes all year long!

    Come sip, savor, and stay a while.

  • Which Eckert location should I visit?

  • Each location offers a unique experience! Belleville is our farm that is open year round, Millstadt is known for fall fun only open in September & October, Grafton offers scenic views available mid June through October, and Versailles is our newest orchard right ouside of Lexington, Kentucky open early May through the end of October.   • Are Your Farms Dog Friendly?

  • Our Illinois locations including Belleville, Millstadt, and Grafton are dog friendly. We love our furry friends but they are not able to enter the Country Restaurant, Country Store, or fields with low lying crops. Our Versailles, Kentucky location does not allow dogs.
