Short history of the Jorrells.
The band Jorrells began in the 1960’s in Southern Illinois. In the late ‘60’s their one and only album was released featuring cover tunes that they still perform today. The band has always featured a horn section which has always been a part of their signature sound. Over the years fifty musicians have shared their talents as part of the band. While there are no original members of the band currently involved, the current line-up includes seasoned musicians from St Louis, Metro East and southern Illinois. Some members have been a part of the band since the 1980’s. As new musicians are added to the mix, the dedication to signature sound remains the same.
