Eckert’s Great Golden Apple Hunt

Join the fun Aug. 25 & 26, Sept. 1 & 2, Sept. 8 & 9. Find a golden apple at Eckert’s and win.

We’ve hidden 30 golden apples throughout the farm. Find one, bring it to the store, and win one of many super fun prizes, including a new Apple iPad.

No golden luck? No problem. Pick one bushel (48lbs) or more of pick-your-own apples, and we'll enter you for a chance to win.

Official Contest Rules:

  • Winners must provide their full name and contact information in order to claim prize
  • Winners automatically grant Eckert’s permission to use their names for promotional announcements
  • Prizes must be claimed by September 25th from Eckert’s Country Store & Farms located at 951 S Greenmount Rd, during regular business hours (8am – 8pm).
  • To claim prize, please bring one form of picture ID. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian accompany you to claim your prize.
  • Prizes are forfeited if not picked up by the time specified.
  • No purchase is required to win a prize
  • Prizes are non-transferable and have no redeemable cash value
  • Contestants are restricted to one prize per day.
  • Employees of Eckert’s and their immediate family are ineligible to participate and win prizes
  • Eckert’s reserves the right to make changes to all contest rules.
  • Failure to comply with contest rules could result in disqualification.
  • The contest will take place on August 25 and 26 and September 1, 2, 8 & 9.

Prizes include but are not limited to: free sundae, free kids meal, free Danish, free apple butter, free cooking class, one free pie each month for a year, admission for four to the Millstadt Farm, Monthly dinner from Eckert’s Restaurant (Each month come back to Eckert’s restaurant to receive one free meal for a year), free pie, year of freebies (each month receive one special gift from Eckert’s Country Store & Farm) and more. The Grand Prize is one iPad 2 with Wi-Fi 16 GB – Black.

General Information: On each day of the contest (August 25 & 26 and September 1, 2, 8 & 9) thirty golden apples will be hidden around Eckert’s Belleville Farm located at 951 South Greenmount Road in Belleville, IL. Each golden apple will have a sticker on it stating “you won” and where to claim your prize. Every contestant that finds a golden apple will receive a randomly selected prize upon turning in the Golden Apple and then will be put into a drawing for the Grand Prize which is one iPad 2 with Wi – Fi 16 GB – Black. Another way to get entered into the Grand Prize drawing is by picking and purchasing one bushel (48lbs) of apples. Those customers that pick and purchase 48lbs or more of apples will automatically be entered into the Grand Prize drawing.

The Grand Prize will be drawn and winner announced on Tuesday, September 11th. Winner will be contacted by provided phone number or email address. Winner of the Grand Prize must claim that prize on or before September 25, 2012, if not claimed prize will be forfeited and another winner will be randomly selected.
